Greylag Goose
  • Bulky body with thick and long neck and large head and bill
  • Pink legs and feet
  • Orange bill
  • Grayish-brown plumage with darker head and paler belly
Ring-billed Gulls
  • Pale gray mantle
  • Yellow bill with black ring
  • Pale eyes
  • Yellowish legs
Mallards (Hybrid)
Front: American Black Duck x Mallard hybrid
  • Green stripe extending from eye
  • Yellow bill
  • White tail feathers curled up
Back: Northern Pintail x Mallard hybrid
  • Chocolate brown head
  • Slender, white neck with thin line extending onto head
  • Grayish bill
Red-tailed Hawk
  • Belly band of dark streaks on whitish underaprts
  • Dark bar on leading edge of underwing contrasting with paler wing linings
  • Reddish uppertail, paler red undertail

Great Blue Heron
  • Gray-blue, black stripe extending above eye
  • White foreneck streaked with black
  • Yellowish bill
  • Ornate plumes on head, neck, and back

Brown-headed Cowbird
  • Brown head
  • Metallic green-black body

  • Metallic green head and neck

  • Narrow white collar
  • Chestnut breast
  • Black central tail feathers curled up

  • Bright blue speculum with both sides bordered in white
