All of these pictures were taken while I was walking around Colonial Williamsburg with my fiance.
Eastern Bluebird (Male)
Chestnut throat, sides of neck, breast, sides, and flanks. White belly and undertail. Deep blue above.
Song Sparrow
Long, rounded tail. Broad grayish eyebrow and broad, dark malar stripe boardering whitish throat. Streaked upperparts. Whitish underparts with streaking on sides and breast, converging in a central spot. Pink legs and feet.
Northern Mockingbird
White outer tail feathers and white wing patches.
Eastern Phoebe
Brownish-gray above, darkest on head, wings, and tail. Underparts mostly white with pale ollive wash on sides and breast.
European Starling
Iridescent black, with a yellow bill with blue or pink base.
White-throated Sparrow
Strongly outlined white throat. Mostly dark bill. Dark crown stripes and eye line. Broad eyebrow is yellow in front of the eye and remainder is white.Upperparts rusty-brown and underparts grayish, sometimes with streaking.
Northern Cardinal (Female)
Crest and cone-shaped bill. Female buffy brown or olive, tinged with red on wings, crest, and tail.
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Yellow rump, patch on side, and crown. White tail patches. White eyebrow, throat, and sides of neck. Dark cheek patch.
Dark-eyed Junco
Gray head and breast sharply set off from white belly. White outer tail feathers.
